We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and have experience in delivery services. This role involves transporting vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely colections/deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. A good understanding of mechanical operations and warehouse procedures will be advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining the integrity of products during transit.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is essential.
- A valid commercial driving licence is required; additional qualifications for operating flatbed vehicles are preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for performing basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
- Previous warehouse experience will be beneficial for understanding loading procedures and inventory management.
