An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy Car Parking & Security Team within the Directorate of Estates, Facilities & PFI. The post holder will be responsible for a full range of Car Parking and Security duties within the Car Parking & Security Department at County Hospital.
Pay
Staff will also benefit from enhance payments on top of their basic hourly pay as outlined below:
Basic pay: £12.48 per hour.
Additional Payments
Unsociable hours - for all hours worked between the hours of 20.00pm to 6.00am, an additional 41% will be paid per hour on top of basic payment.
Saturday Working - for all hours worked on a Saturday, an additional 41% will be paid per hour on top of basic payment.
Sunday Working - for all hours worked on a Sunday, an additional 83% will be paid per hour on top of basic payment.
Car Parking and Security is a 24hour, 365 day service. The successful candidate will be expected to work 37.5 hours, 5 out of 7 days through a rolling rota shift pattern.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our Car Parking & Security team who provide and maintain a professional, efficient, effective and timely service to patients, visitors and departments. Experience in this type of role is beneficial but is not essential as full training can be given.
Car Parking & Security services are provided at the hospital 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, worked over a rolling shift pattern including weekends. A flexible approach to work, smart appearance, good communication skills and a high standard of customer care is required.
The position will involve long periods of walking up to 10,000 steps per day, management of the County hospital car parks along with dealing with alarms, monitoring of CCTV and Security incidents, including restraint as required.
