Job Title: Car Valeter / Vehicle Detailer (Self-Employed / Contract)

We are a small, family-run used car dealership with a passion for quality and presentation. Every car we sell is prepared to the highest standard, and we’re looking for an experienced and reliable Car Valeter / Detailer to help us keep that standard.
Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for preparing our vehicles so they look their absolute best for advertising, customer viewings, and handovers. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare vehicles inside and out to showroom standard.
- Wash and valet exteriors, including wheels, windows, and trims.
- Shampoo seats, carpets, and upholstery.
- Machine mop and polish bodywork.
- Remove light scratches and blemishes.
- Carry out minor paint touch-ins as required.
- Ensure all stock is presentable and ready for photos, viewings, and collection.
- Safely manoeuvre and park vehicles in tight spaces.
- Assist with taking photographs and short videos of stock for online advertising when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting/detailing is essential.
- Confident in driving and parking vehicles of various sizes.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
Contract Type & Pay:
- Self-employed / contract basis.
- Competitive rates paid.
