We are looking for a reliable and experienced calf rearer to join our team on a busy dairy farm. We calve all year around, approximately 7 - 10 per week.
Position: Part-Time Calf Rearer (Self-Employed)
Location: EX17 5DJ
Hours: Twice daily – Mornings starting at 5:30 AM and Afternoons at 4:00 PM
Days: Flexible
Pay: Competitive rates, to be discussed based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Feeding and caring for calves
Monitoring calf health and reporting any concerns
Keeping calf housing clean and well-maintained
Maintaining a high standard of animal welfare
Requirements:
Previous experience is essential
Proven ability in calf rearing or similar livestock work
Comfortable working independently and early mornings
Self-employed status with ability to invoice
Reliable transport to and from the farm
