Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, brownies, traybakes and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, particularly in baking.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for cooking and baking, with creativity in recipe development.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £24,793.00-£25,211.00 per year
