In this role, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional customer service while assisting in food preparation and maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items in accordance with our menu standards, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including kitchen areas and dining spaces.
- Adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Consistent shifts and competitive pay based on experience
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food, people and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
We are ideally looking for some hospitality experience but full training will be given. We are looking for team members that are confident, friendly and outgoing with a positive pro-active attitude.
You will need to be a self-motivated and cheerful as our cafe is often very busy and fast-paced. If you enjoy people and are looking to develop a career in a fast growing and expanding brand and understand what good customer service is then we’d love to hear from you.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week
