Saline Shaw Farm Shop and Cafe is based outside the village of Saline near Dunfermline in Fife.
We are looking for a barista/waitress to join our young enthusiastic hard working team, who isn't afraid of being super busy, but also keeping busy on those Tuesday rainy days!
Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers.
- Maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Preparation of hot beverages, as well as serving cold drinks and cakes.
- Helping with basic dishwasher duties and cleaning when required.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience working in a similar environment is preferred but not required as FULL TRAINING will be given - you must just be pro active and keen to learn!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow written instructions accurately.
The role will be 3/4 days out of 7 meaning both weekdays and weekend work is required. Shifts are either 8.30am to 4.30pm or 10.30am to 3.30pm. Unfortunately earlier finishes cannot be guaranteed. Please do not apply if you are still at school and looking for a weekend only position.
YOUR OWN TRANSPORT IS REQUIRED. Saline Shaw is in a countryside location and not on any bus routes and has no suitable footpath from the local town.
