Job Title: Café Team Member & Soft Play Support

Job Summary:
We are looking for a warm, experienced, and reliable Café Team Member to join our team in a dual role supporting both our café and soft play area. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on customer service experience, including barista-level coffee preparation, and a genuine passion for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for families and children.
Key Responsibilities:
Café Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks to a consistently high standard
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, family-focused setting
- Operate the till, handle payments, and maintain accurate cash handling
- Keep café counters, food preparation areas, and displays clean and well-stocked
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Soft Play Support:
- Regularly clean and sanitise the soft play structures and surrounding areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the day
- Support the team in keeping the play area tidy, safe, and enjoyable for children
- Assist with deep cleaning routines and end-of-day procedures
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of customer-facing experience (preferably 5 years) in hospitality or café settings
- Proven barista experience with strong coffee-making skills
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable working around children and families
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Flexible availability including weekends and school holidays
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team

Pay: £12.21-£12.75 per hour
