Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cafe and Soft Play Team Members to join our vibrant team. As a key part of our café and Soft Play, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, preparing high-quality food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for food and hospitality.
Duties
- Welcoming and assisting customers in our café and soft play areas.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Supervising children in the soft play area to ensure a safe and fun experience.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Supporting the wider team with daily operations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience working in soft play or childcare (desirable).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for food, coffee, and providing excellent customer service is highly desirable.

Pay: £11.50-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
