We are seeking a proactive Buyer to support procurement activities across a diverse range of fit-out projects. You will play a key role in sourcing goods and services efficiently, within budget and timescales, while ensuring best value from our approved supply chain. This role is based at our Head Office in Antrim
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of materials and services to meet project needs.
- Analyse stock/requisition data to optimise purchase orders.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and service level agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and mitigate risks.
- Support the implementation of ISO and industry-compliant procurement practices.
Applicants must have experience in a purchasing role, preferably within a fit-out, construction or similar sector, with excellent IT skills and experience of computerised purchase ordering systems. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with strong negotiation, communication and organisational skills
A 3rd level qualification in Business, Construction or Engineering is preferred as is MCIPS qualification or working towards.
