About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Bricklaying Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising bricklaying teams on construction sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship, health & safety, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of bricklaying teams on site
- Ensure all work is completed to the required standards and within deadlines
- Manage labour, materials, and productivity to meet project targets
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and enforce site safety protocols
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, site issues, and workforce attendance
Requirements:
- Minimum SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
- Gold CSCS Supervisor Card (must be valid and up-to-date)
- Proven track record in supervising bricklaying teams on residential and/or commercial projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of building regulations and health & safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
