An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent electrical wholesaler with 7 branches and a Renewables division located across Sussex and Kent.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our fast-paced and thriving team at our Eastbourne branch in East Sussex. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and ambitious with driving experience to support the smooth running of a busy electrical wholesale branch.
- Deliver goods to site/customers.
- Load and unload vans & lorries in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive/process shipments.
- Put stock away.
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation.
- Always keep warehouses clean and tidy.
- Serving customers over the trade counter
- Answering customer queries over the telephone
Previous electrical wholesale experience preferred.
A Full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Working hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday
Please be advised the listed starting salary is minimum wage for those aged 21 and over. Starting salary will be from the National Living Wage appropriate for your age; however, this is negotiable depending on experience.
National living wage for those 21+ is £28,571.40
National minimum wage for those 18-20 is £23,400.00
