We’re currently looking for a dedicated volunteer to help us manage the books donated to our Home Store & More.
You’ll be trained to scan books through We Buy Any Books to check if they’re sellable, and then box them up ready for delivery.
What the role involves:
- Sorting through donated books
- Scanning and checking prices via We Buy Any Books
- Boxing items up ready for collection/delivery
- Working alongside our friendly retail team
Preferred skills/qualities:
- Reliable and able to commit to regular hours
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet to scan items
- Organised and able to work independently
- Interest in books or reading (desirable but not essential)
- Able to follow processes and training
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
