Are you someone who can lead on the development of a new palliative care bereavement service that will deliver a coordinated approach to bereavement care across the Scottish Borders?


NHS Borders Specialist Palliative Care Team and Psychology Service are delighted to invite applicants for a 22.5hr 0.6wte Band 7 Bereavement Co Ordinator post which will be fixed term for 2 years.


This role will work as part of the NHS Borders Specialist Palliative Care Services, based in the Margaret Kerr Unit, offering psychosocial approaches within the scope of bereavement care.


We are looking for someone who has a relevant counselling qualification and experience in this area to lead on a caseload.


You will be a key part of our Specialist Palliative Care Service and will work closely with the Palliative Care Psychologist who will offer oversight and line management.

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
