We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring that guests receive outstanding service, and stepping in, where required on the floor
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with licensing laws.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Uphold food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- A passion for bartending, with knowledge of various drink recipes and preparation techniques.
