Overview
We are seeking an experienced cook with barista skills, to join our team in creating exceptional food items and delicious coffee for our customers. If you have a passion for fantastic food and wonderful coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
You will be required to assist with food preparation in the kitchen , waitressing and various duties involved in a busy coffee shop environment as well as serving a variety of drinks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of menus items and hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all preparation area
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Assist with food preparation, cake making and display as required. Provide cover main for the head cooks days off and holidays - preparing a variety of menu items in a fast timeframe
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in food preparation is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £12.25-£12.35 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
