Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are presented attractively.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is essential.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction is advantageous.
