Job Summary
As a Barista, you will be the face of our Brunch service, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages to customers.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance with menu selections.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as required.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous, with knowledge of food safety practices being essential.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- A helpful attitude towards both customers and colleagues, fostering a positive team environment.
