We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Barista/Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role will require someone who is confident in delivering the highest standards in customer service and coffee service at a fast pace whilst retaining a friendly and positive work environment at Fantail.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and serve specialty coffee beverages with precision and artistry, showcasing
- your expertise in espresso extraction and latte art.
- Provide warm and welcoming hospitality, engaging with customers to create
- memorable experiences and build lasting relationships.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, ensuring that every aspect of the environment reflects our commitment to quality and excellence.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold standards of excellence in all aspects of
- cafe operations, from beverage preparation to customer interactions.
- Be punctual, professional and friendly in all aspects of your role.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating meaningful connections with guests.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista in a specialty coffee setting, with capability to manage busy rushes without a sweat.
- Proficiency in espresso preparation techniques, including dialing in, shot timing, and milk texturing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
