Overview
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure that each guest enjoys a memorable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate till operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Skills
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
