Durham City independent business requires a coffee shop barista/all rounder to help run their busy coffee house. We are looking for an outgoing, hard working and reliable individual to join our team. This role is being offered as part time role but more hours maybe available during busier periods or when covering annual leave.
As titled this is an all rounded role, You will be required to be a barista, assist with food preparation and serve customers. Cleaning is also very important, so in carrying out cleaning duties you will be required to keep the shop clean and tidy - from coffee equipment, the counters, tables, windows, floors and the kitchen.
Previous experience of working in a similar environment is an advantage. Tho we do offer support and in house training.
You will be required to work days and weekends. Hours can vary from 08h30 to 17h30.
The role will initially be offered on a 3-month probation. If the candidate proves successful during the probation period a permanent position will be offered. We do encourage growth as well for those that wish to develop in this industry with many staff members taking on more senior positions.
