Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant café environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and assist each other as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- A willingness to help others and work as part of a team is essential.
