Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 24-hour Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that every drink served meets our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following proper hygiene practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills for accurate billing.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat business.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous.
- Basic food preparation skills are beneficial for this role.
