We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team at Soul Foods Group. Located in the heart of our vibrant community, this role is essential in delivering exceptional coffee experiences while contributing to our mission of making a difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages
- Provide outstanding customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment
- Engage with customers to promote new products and offers
Qualifications
- Proven barista experience or strong coffee knowledge
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong time management abilities
- Familiarity with Aloha or Micros POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
