Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages . Your ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all who visit.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Provide assistance to team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and managing orders.
- A strong understanding of food safety practices is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for coffee and customer service is essential, along with the ability to work well within a team.
