Job Title: Barista
Job Summary:
Join our team at Maya, a cozy micro-bakery & Coffee house located in Central London. As a part-time Barista, you will be an integral part of our family business founded by Oniz and Serdar.
This role is 3-4 days per week, including one full weekend day.
We are seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages following recipes and presentation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and recommending menu items.
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment cleaning and restocking.
- Uphold food safety standards in handling and storing ingredients.
- Assist in other tasks as needed to support the overall functioning of the Cafe.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently and managing the shop alone throughout the day on Sundays.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista and specialty coffee is a must.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
