Role Overview
As a Barista at Matcha by Hudson, you’ll be the face of our brand, preparing high-quality matcha-based drinks and delivering excellent customer service to customers. You’ll ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience, whether they’re grabbing a quick latte on the go or trying matcha for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve all drinks according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Deliver fast, friendly, and consistent service to every customer.
- Confidently explain matcha, menu items, and milk/customisation options.
- Upsell seasonal specials and add-ons (extra shots, alternative milks).
- Keep the workspace clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies (milk, syrups, cups, lids, matcha) throughout the shift.
- Handle payments and operate the POS system accurately.
- Follow opening, closing, and daily cleaning checklists.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred (training provided).
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: £12.21-£17.15 per hour
