Join Our Coffee-Loving Crew – Barista (Part-Time) & Training Positions Available
2 Days a Week | Weekdays Only | Paid at or above London Living Wage
We’re looking for a friendly, service-focused barista to join our team — and we’re also open to welcoming students and early-career coffee enthusiasts who want to get started in the world of specialty coffee.
Whether you're confident behind the machine or just beginning your coffee journey, this is a great opportunity to work with top-quality equipment and roasters in a supportive, professional setting.
You’ll be brewing with a La Marzocco Strada, Mahlkönig grind-by-weight grinders, and a Puqpress, using beans from Square Mile and other rotating specialty roasters.
What We’re Hiring For:
Experienced Barista – part-time (2 days/week)
Training Role – for newer baristas or students looking to grow into the role
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is upbeat, friendly, and customer-focused
- Understands what good hospitality means
- Is a team player who supports others and communicates well
- Can keep calm under pressure and stay productive during quieter moments
- Uses initiative and common sense to get things done
For the Barista Role:
- At least 1 year of experience in a specialty coffee setting
- Confident with espresso and filter dial-in for consistent flavour
- Skilled in milk texturing and at least basic latte art
- Familiar with opening/closing coffee stations and machine cleaning
- Organised, reliable, and great with timekeeping
For Early-Career / Student Applicants:
We’re also open to students, recent graduates, and coffee enthusiasts who are just starting out. This isn’t a formal internship — but you’ll get:
- On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced baristas
- Access to training at Square Mile Roastery in London
- The chance to build real-world skills in a busy but supportive environment
As long as you’re eager to learn, have a positive attitude, and are willing to roll up your sleeves, we’re keen to hear from you.
What We Offer:
- London Living Wage or above, depending on experience
- Weekday work only — no weekends!
- A positive, professional team environment
- Room to grow and progress in your role
- As much excellent coffee as you can handle
