We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable experience in our café.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the café.
Qualifications
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred to maintain a safe working environment.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
