Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that all food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety guidelines and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including workstations and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills to ensure accurate payments.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food and beverage supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Demonstrate time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in food preparation is an advantage.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
