Main duties include:
General all-round barista duties - making and serving a range of espresso based drinks, teas, milk shakes, smoothies and alcoholic drinks.
Ensuring customer requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently
Ensure total guest satisfaction is achieved
Provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality in the cafe-bistro at all times, including outside areas and toilets
Ensure that all guests are asked about allergies and intolerances, and relay these to the kitchen and other front of house team members
Summary
As a Barista/All Rounder, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Reporting to the owners, your core skills in barista experience and serving will ensure a high-quality experience for our guests. You will also utilize your premium skills in food safety to maintain health standards. With relevant skills in food preparation, basic maths, and time management, you will contribute to a smooth and efficient operation in our vibrant café setting. Qualifications
- Proven barista experience with a strong focus on serving guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Skills in food preparation and basic math for handling transactions
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
