Barista – Huqqa Lounge
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and versatile Barista to join our vibrant Huqqa Lounge team. In this dynamic role, you will craft a wide range of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages and desserts, while providing exceptional customer service in a stylish and welcoming environment. Your creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety will help deliver a memorable experience for every guest.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, smoothies, milkshakes, mocktails, and fresh juices.
- Create and present desserts such as crepes, waffles, and other sweet treats to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing workstation in line with hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Ensure all beverages and dishes are well-presented and consistently meet quality standards.
- Engage warmly with customers to take orders, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Accurately handle cash and electronic transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support daily lounge operations and maintain a positive atmosphere.
Skills & Attributes
- Experience in preparing a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and/or desserts is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices.
- Excellent presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities, especially during busy periods.
- Confident with basic maths for handling payments and orders.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, creativity in drink/dessert making, and a customer-first attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£12.60 per hour
