Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met during food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to basic maths principles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Provide help to colleagues as needed to foster a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service role; previous barista experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- A keen interest in coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
