Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our café maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for register operations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a busy environment.

Successful completion of a paid 2 week trial period leads to a permanent position.
Fixed hours : Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday . 0945 to 1530.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £8.00-£12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
