POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Barback,you’ll be the engine room of the bar — ensuring the team is fully equipped to serve drinks quickly,cleanly,and beautifully. You’ll support the Bartenders with setup,stock replenishment,and cleanliness while maintaining the high standards and elegant feel of the Richoux bar.
GUEST EXPERIENCE:
- Contribute to a seamless guest journey by supporting fast,clean,and consistent bar service
- Maintain a polished,professional appearance and work with quiet confidence behind the bar
- Be attentive to the team’s pace to help ensure guests are never waiting for drinks unnecessarily
- Support the ambiance by keeping the bar area elegant,tidy,and well-stocked
OPERATIONS:
- Prepare and replenish garnishes,ice,glassware,and bar supplies throughout service
- Assist with daily setup,close-down,and deep-cleaning routines
- Ensure bins,racks,and spill trays are cleared promptly and safely
- Help maintain stock rotation,restocking,and delivery checks
PEOPLE:
- Work closely with bartenders and managers to keep service flowing smoothly
- Communicate effectively under pressure and respond quickly to support requests
- Take direction well and show reliability,positivity,and initiative
- Learn from experienced team members with a view to progressing over time
BRAND GUARDIANSHIP:
- Keep the back bar and bar floor in line with Richoux’s high aesthetic standards
- Handle all tools and glassware with care,precision,and professionalism
- Act as a silent ambassador of the brand,upholding its elegance through your actions
- Support seasonal launches and maintain consistency in presentation standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality
- Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn about drinks,service,and guest care
- Good physical stamina and timekeeping
