Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any guest inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and serving.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented setting.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
