Hatch Market is looking for part-time staff for their Bierkeller and Cocktail Bar at Gravesend Borough Market. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for:
- Making drinks to order
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and bar equipment
- Helping to clear tables
You will also need to encourage repeat visits by telling customers about other market vendors and upcoming events.
You should be friendly, confident and a good communicator who enjoys meeting new people. As part of the bar team you will be on the front line representing the market, so it is crucial that you are able to engage with customers. Previous experience of working in a bar or a similar establishment is preferred but not essential.
Please note that weekend availability is essential - we will not consider candidates who are not available for Friday evenings, Saturday daytime and evenings or Sundays. Mid-week availability in addition to weekends would be an advantage.
You must be at least 18 to be considered for this role.
The rate of pay is £10 p/h (ages 18-20) or £12.21 p/h (ages 21+).
This role is available for an immediate start.
