Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Leader to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the bar and restaurant, opening and closing of the bar and be an approved key holder. You will ensure our high standards of customer service are met, carry out bar staff supervision, and keep within compliance, licensing and health & safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
- Engage with customers, taking their orders promptly and accurately while providing recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Assist in restocking supplies as necessary and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages.
- Opening and closing the of bar.
- Supervise bar staff and help coordinate the daily operation of the bar area.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for customer service.
- Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
