Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during meal times.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
