Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for the hospitality industry.
We also have a supervisor/key holder position available for the right candidate.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and assisting them with their drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold responsible serving practices and adhere to licensing laws.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- A strong understanding of hospitality principles and a desire to help create memorable experiences for guests.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Bartending skills or knowledge of drink recipes would be beneficial but not mandatory.
