The Cavalry and Guards Club are looking for an experienced Bartender to be part of our Bar team. Our next Bartender needs to have proactive energy, a positive can-do attitude and a friendly personality. Responsibilities
- Preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the recipe standards in house
- Ensure consistency in drinks quality and presentation
- To be fully aware of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
- Possess extensive knowledge of beverages including premium liquor, wine, and beer offered
- Ensure all beverages consumed/made/wasted are accurately recorded through systems in use
- To serve guests at the bar and respond to any needs the guest may have
- To monitor alcohol consumption of bar guests and communicate any alarming behaviour to the manager on duty
- To perform all opening/closing duties as enlisted by management
- To greet and serve guests with a positive, confident, outgoing, and courteous manner to ensure all guests have an exemplary experience at the bar
- Required to work weekends according to the rotational rota
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a bar is essential.
- Previous experience making cocktails and drinks essential.
- You must have exceptional communication skills.
- You should be focused on delivering excellent customer service to our employees and our members.
- Mixology and preparation. Knowledge of trending drinks or obscure concoctions set bartenders apart
- Able to work well in a team
