WOULD SUIT STUDENTS
Persons required to do 1 or 2 shifts per week leading to more if wanted working in a friendly Cambridge pub.
Day and Night shifts available, weekdays & weekends
Must be able to work some Saturdays in November and on other busy Rugby days.
Ideally I would like someone with experience, but would gladly train some quick learners.
What I am looking for though is a person who is willing to learn, and who has the temperament to stay calm and carry on.
Common Sense is ESSENTIAL, as is a good grasp of the English Language.

Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering and replenishing supplies as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Experience in serving drinks and food in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
