Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall hospitality experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, applying basic maths skills as necessary.
- Support the overall team by helping colleagues during peak times or when required.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Bartending skills or willingness to learn the craft of mixology is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£12.40 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
