We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with hospitality practices.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Basic math skills are essential for managing transactions accurately.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

- Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1UE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
