Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our new buffet restaurant, opening in July.
As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, providing help and support to colleagues as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with bartending techniques and beverage preparation is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to food safety practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with guests.
