We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a restaurant setting, this role is perfect for you.
This is a new bar currently being refurbished with a propsed opening date of the 12th September approx. We are looking for all levels of server & management.
Please also let us know if you have kitchen experience.
This is in a heavily tourist area with a very British vipe where we want to peoplr yo have the friendly pub experience in york
*Duties*
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patrons with their orders and queries
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Assist in restocking bar supplies and inventory management
*Requirements*
- Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant industry is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and basic maths for handling payments
- Familiarity with food safety practices is desirable
- Willingness to learn and help colleagues during peak hours

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
