Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, managing customer orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring a high level of service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout the bar.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience, providing recommendations and answering queries about the menu.
- Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Previous bartending experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates.
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.
