The Farmers isn’t just a pub – it’s a lively, well-loved fixture in the heart of Ulverston. From breakfast or lunchtime catch-ups to packed Saturday nights, we’re proud to be part of the town’s buzzing food and drink scene – and we’re looking for new faces to join our front-of-house crew.
We’re after real people with character. The kind of people who can chat to anyone, enjoy working as part of a team, and bring good energy to a shift. You don’t need years of experience – if you’ve got the right attitude, we can teach you the rest. We can show you how to carry three plates, pour the perfect pint, or handle a busy dinner service. What we can’t teach is how to be a good crack – and that’s what really matters here.
The Role Includes:
- Serving drinks – from pints and wines to cocktails and coffees
- Running food and looking after guests with warmth and confidence

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in hospitality
- Knows how to graft when it gets busy – and still have a laugh
- Is reliable, friendly, and happy to get stuck in
- Brings good vibes, solid team spirit, and a sense of pride in the job
