We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest services, ensuring that every patron has an enjoyable dining experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments efficiently while handling cash and card transactions accurately using basic maths skills.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Upsell menu items by providing recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment while managing time efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
