Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
£46,148 - £52,809 a year
Birmingham, England
Full time
Would you like to join a small team of dietitians working in a novel and exciting way? Are you keen to develop your Primary Care (General Practice) skills and support our non-Dietitian colleagues to deliver excellent patient care in the right place and at the right time? If so, Birmingham Community Nutrition has vacancies in our well established PCN Service and is looking for someone like you to develop your career and build on your existing skills.

This team works directly with GP Practices and their staff to deliver a highly autonomous nutrition service across a wide range of conditions and for patients of all ages. There are opportunities to develop and use your specialist dietetic skills in areas including frailty, gastro, diabetes, weight management and paediatrics. Embedded with the PCN, you will collaborate with other experienced PCN Dietitians to deliver this service and will have the professional support and leadership of the Dietetic Service Leads.

As PCN Dietitian you will work with designated GP practices to deliver a comprehensive and autonomous nutrition service. Continuing service development and innovation is a key part of this role, and through collaboration with other PCN Dietitians you will help shape this new and growing service.

In Birmingham we have embraced new ways of working to deliver safe high-quality care and enable staff to maintain a flexible work life balance. These include virtual consultations via telephone or video and some face-to-face clinics / care home visits.
